As your child’s introduction to Preschool, the Pre-K 3 room is designed to provide a warm, welcoming environment. Play based with a focus on self-regulation and social emotional skills, structures and academic learning is introduced in a gradual developmentally appropriate way.

A typical day includes breakfast, circle time, free play where your child engages with other children as well as materials curated to their ability and development, snack times, a guided lesson time and related project, as well as gross motor/outdoor play.

Your child should bring a water bottle, a packed lunch (we have a microwave in each classroom), and appropriate footwear/weather gear for gross motor play/outdoor explorations! We also ask that grown ups keep their child’s cubby stocked with an extra set of clothes. Pre-K can get messy! No toys from home, please.

Various forms are required for enrollment, but your child will need a recent physical as well as record of vaccines/vaccine exemption. Contact us for a full list!

Our center is compliant with all PA state regulations. This includes yearly inspections, staff trained in CPR and First AID, and supervision. Your child’s safety and well being is our priority!

Wallenpaupack Early Learning Center will follow the Wallenpaupack Area School District for snow/inclement weather closures and delays.

We offer flexible schedules for the working parent. Your child can attend as many or as few days as works for you. We offer half day, full day, and after school care.
